PORTABLE

Portable generators are meant for portable, non-permanent and stationary applications. These units are not equiped with a forced air cooling system to change air within a compartment. It relea-ses its combustion heat and exhaust to the ambient air, therefore, an auxiliary air anddad

   and exhaust handling equipment is required. These generators' engines operate at a high 3000 and 3600 RPM speed. Consequently, more engine power is produced by a smaller engine, which will make the generator benefit from a weight reduction.

STATIONARY

Unlike portable units, stationary genera-tors have a forced air or other type of cooling system. This allows the unit to be enclosed (just like central air conditioning units) in structures such as outside wea-ther housing mounted on concrete pad. Modsdsst

   Most stationary units use large engines that run at a slower 1800 RPM speed. Thus, they achieve the same power re-sults as the portable generators, but with a much quieter and smoother operation.

These generators have the main charac-teristic and great advantage of function-ning with diesel AND biodiesel. This type of fuel is obtained from vegetable and through

   animal oil that has been transformed through a chemical process called tran-sesterification. Biodiesel can be used alone or mixed with ordinary diesel.
